Sherwin Park is a Waipa District Council sports park on Swarbrick Drive in Te Awamutu, home to Te Awamutu AFC junior football fixtures across the winter season. The grounds sit beside Te Awamutu Intermediate School and Waipa Christian School, with toilets and parking on site and a small play space for siblings while older kids train or play. A practical neighbourhood sports park rather than a destination playground.

Went to watch my partners nephew play soccer. Was nice, though I'd hate to live at one of the houses next to it. The noise that time on a Saturday morning would ruin my sleep in. They had a coffee cart there so was able to have my morning coffee.
