Pop 'n' Good Playground is the destination play hub at Pioneer Park in Te Awamutu, on Selwyn Lane beside the Mangaohoi Stream. It opened in February 2018 with the cost of the bike park's construction donated by Paul and Donna Davies, the local Pop 'n' Good Popcorn founders, and pairs a pump track and learn-to-ride loop with the rebuilt playground. The play space mixes climbing frames, multiple slides, swings, seesaws, spinners, a large sandpit and a summer splash pad water-play area, plus a fenced and shaded under-fives zone. Best treated as a full-afternoon Waipā destination stop.

This playground has been split into zones, which is really great. Nearest the pool there is the original playground, which has what you'd typically expect for an 'old school' playground. As you wrap around towards the Rose Garden, there is more modern equipment, with more things for the older kids to do. There's even a small scooter/bike track loop. And plenty of space for them to run and explore. Walking trail along the riverside goes past the playground on the low side, that is unseen from the road.
