Centennial Park is a Waipā District Council reserve on Rewi Street in Te Awamutu and is the home of the town's 2022 skate and parkour park - Waipā's first dedicated parkour training facility, designed by Acid NZ and built with around $1m of community investment. The site combines skate ramps, parkour walls, a playground, bike paths and picnic seating with surrounding bush, walking tracks and toilets, all accessed off Rewi Street. It is well-regarded by older kids and teens as a destination skate-and-play hub.

Excellent little trail for walking alone or with your furry companion. I often take my boy here to play in the big open part after a quick little walk along the trail

Nice park with a bush walk and man made island on one side and large open park on the other. Safe to have dogs off lead to give them a good run. Would recommend this park for travelers looking to take a toilet break and stretch their legs, especially if the have dogs.
