Martin Luckie Park is a multi-purpose Wellington City Council sports park on Lavaud Street in Berhampore, named after cricketer-turned-administrator Martin Maxwell Fleming Luckie OBE. The 1956 pavilion sits beside elite-level sand-based football pitches (occasional home of Wellington Olympic FC and a 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup training site) plus fields for volleyball, ultimate frisbee and touch rugby. A children's playground with sandpit, a skate park, basketball courts and a cafe make it a popular weekend family-and-sports stop rather than a destination playground.

Lovely field to have a run on. Pitch is kept in great condition and the goals seem brand new.

Much less boggy than it used to be, thanks to the sand-based grass fields installed for the Wellington Phoenix to train on.
