Māori Park is a Timaru District Council destination playground on Benvenue Avenue in Maori Hill, said to be the most historic place in Timaru and once home to the Blackett Lighthouse (now at Benvenue Cliffs). The play space packs in a 10m Lighthouse Tower with slides, a 50m double flying fox, wheelchair-accessible carousel, in-ground wheelchair-friendly trampoline, adaptive slides and Māori cultural and maritime-heritage interpretive elements. Picnic seating, parking and the wider Mere Road Reserve and Timaru Aquatic Centre sit close by.
