Caroline Bay's CPlay (Caroline Bay Playground) is an award-winning destination playground on Timaru's seafront, 16,289m² in size and one of the largest playgrounds in the Southern Hemisphere. Centrepiece is a 10-metre Lighthouse Tower (inspired by Timaru's Blackett's Lighthouse) with 7m and 5m tube slides, a rock climbing wall, scramble net and rope chimney, alongside a 14.5m wooden shipwreck with sloping deck, talking tubes and interactive panels. Other 40+ play pieces include trampolines, swings, a mouse wheel, a 50m double flying fox, a floor-is-lava challenge, a tuna-shaped mound and a play whare. The neighbouring CBay Timaru Aquatic Centre adds two hydro-slides, indoor heated pools, a 50m outdoor pool and a kids' water-play area.
