Waterstone Reserve is a Kāpiti Coast District Council green-space reserve in Paraparaumu, set between Awatea Avenue, Waterstone Avenue and Jade Lane with access via all three streets. A pond loop surrounded by native plantings wraps the reserve, and the playground was upgraded in 2023 with a tower and slide, climbing equipment, swings and a shaded picnic area set back from the road for a safe, quiet feel. Best treated as a peaceful local stop combining a short pond walk with the play visit.

My Grandson, enjoyed the park, especially the spiders web climbing area, but sadly whist on the swings a very sharp split plastic tube where the chain meets the seat cut him on the inside of his upper arm, very painful for the little chap. We sailed our boats on the smaller lake adjacent to the playground, nice deck area to sit on, unfortunately the water was filthy with algae and waterfowl droppings. Overall a nice quiet kids play area.
