Kaitawa Reserve sits in the Wharemauku Stream valley between Kaitawa Crescent, Riwai Street and Hookway Grove in Paraparaumu, run by Kapiti Coast District Council. The playground features a flying fox, swings, slides and climbing structures alongside a basketball half-court and picnic tables, while scenic walking paths through 43,000+ native plantings (restored by Forest & Bird since 1996) link to Hookway Grove Playground and the Paraparaumu water tank lookout.

Lovely park, quite a variety of activities for kids. Clean toilet facilities, as well as the rest of the reserve to explore. Lots to do, well maintained as well as lots of adventures to be had.
