Great playground! Has a basketball court, slide, climbing section and sand play area. It’s also by the lagoon which has a spot for feeding eels!

Victor Weggery Reserve is a 23-acre Kapiti Coast District Council reserve at the corner of Erunui Street and Queens Road next to Waimeha Lagoon in Waikanae Beach. The playground was upgraded in 2023/24 with climbing structures, sand and sand play equipment, swings, slides and a basketball hoop, alongside grassed areas for ball games, walking paths and public toilets.
