Esplanade Reserve

A great place to view the Kapiti Island and have a little bit of space to yourself. When I was there the oceans water edge was full of sawmill debris so u have to walk through that to get to clean water. it would be great if there was public toilets indeed.

Beautiful, expansive, quiet beach. Could possibly do with some public toilets somewhere, it's a long stretch of beach with nowhere to go if you come for the day. The water stays shallow for quite a way out so safe for little children.
