Tawai Park is an Upper Hutt City Council small neighbourhood park on Tawai Street in Trentham, described by council as one of the suburb's much-loved local play spaces. The playground combines swings, a slide and climbing equipment in a quiet residential setting. Best treated as a quiet local stop for surrounding families, with the larger Trentham Memorial Park a short drive away for a destination playground day.

Usually pretty quiet park, except for when the Kindy is emptying next door. Has all the favourites; swings, slide, climbing frame and roundabout. Nice big park to run around in. If you want a place with less kids than Trentham park, this is a good option!
Easy to play, back from the road so no worries if your kid's a runner.
