Poets Park is a riverside reserve on River Road in Trentham, Upper Hutt, providing public access to the middle-upper Hutt River and the Hutt River Trail with sealed walkways and car parks spaced along its length. The reserve combines open lawns, mature trees and one of Upper Hutt’s most popular swimming spots in summer, with mountain biking and dog walking trails. A small playground sits beside the carparks, alongside toilets.

A beautiful place to walk among nature, close to the river. Flat small pebble walk way is great for any age to walk, run, or cycle. Every now and again a bench to take a breather or to sit and enjoy nature.
