Postgate Park is a 3.3 acre Porirua City Council reserve at 1 Staithes Drive North in Whitby, sitting at the terminus of the Whitby Walkway with accessible level lawn for casual sports. The southern end now features a new 1000 square metre asphalt pump track for bikes, scooters and skateboards, opened on 15 August 2025 after the Mana Cycle Group, led by local dad Daniel Heath, fundraised the full build cost so no ratepayer money was used. Best treated as a destination Whitby family stop combining play with pump-track laps.
