Omori Recreation Reserve is a Taupō District Council lakeside reserve at 360 Omori Road on the western shore of Lake Taupō, in the Omori and Pukawa settlements area. The reserve combines a safe family swimming beach, a 2012-rebuilt boat ramp and jetty, tennis and volleyball courts and a croquet lawn with a picnic area and toilets. Native bush and lake views toward the volcanic plateau make it a popular summer family stop, though the playground equipment is at the neighbouring Kuratau Reserve. Best treated as a beach-and-picnic day rather than a structured playground visit.
