Mount Eden Playground sits inside Potters Park, Auckland Councils 3 hectare destination park on Balmoral Road in Mount Eden, established in 1921 thanks to philanthropist Frederick Seymour Potter. The play space is built around Aucklands first splash pad, with a wide playground, basketball court, a learn-to-ride mini bike track, sculptures, a band rotunda, picnic areas, and a drinking fountain. Wheelchair-friendly paths connect the major features and toilets are on site. Consistently rated among Aucklands top playgrounds for summer water play, well-regarded across Mount Eden, Balmoral, and Sandringham families.
