Gribblehirst Park is a 5.9-hectare Auckland Council suburban park in Sandringham, accessed off Sandringham Road and Aroha Avenue. The large playground is split over an upper and lower level with slides, swings, a climbing wall, climbing tower, a balance rope, a unique turning Sky Surfer swing and a flying fox by the lower playground. Adjacent are a sports field, basketball half-court, BBQs, picnic tables, accessible toilets and drinking fountains under mature trees.

Nice and big park in Sandringham. Good playground for kids with slides, swings, and a flying fox. There's lots of open space for running around or playing sports. I saw a rugby field and some people playing basketball, too. The place looks clean and has shady trees for sitting. Good for a family picnic. Toilets nearby. It’s quiet and feels safe.

Lovely hidden gem of a park. Used to love the playground as a kid. Good facilities including playground, little free library, public toilets. Lovely bush walk and rose gardens. Home of Eden rugby club, Gribblehirst Hub, Auckland Central …
