Sandringham Playground sits inside the small Sandringham Reserve at 598 Sandringham Road, right in the heart of the Sandringham village shops in central Auckland. The redesigned play space centres on a Wobbly Wood tree-house style fort built from robinia timber, with rope nets, ladders and a long slide forming the adventure focus. Picnic-themed seating and tables, a drinking fountain and toilets round out a comfortable family stop, with the design shaped by the local SPiCE community group. Best treated as a village-centre stop combined with the surrounding shops and cafes.
