Marine Park

Marine Park is a waterfront amenity reserve at Sulphur Point on Keith Allen Drive in Tauranga, sitting alongside the Tauranga Marina and harbour boat ramps. The grassy reserve is used for walking, picnics, and self-contained motorhome stays of up to two nights, with rubbish bins, parking and harbour views. Tauranga City Council’s Sulphur Point and Marine Park Master Plan is progressing a marine-themed playground and café tied to the University of Waikato’s NZ Institute for Marine Futures, with construction expected to start in 2028.
