Sunday street food market at Matua Park was a nice relaxed evening in Tauranga's suburbs. Live music, local food cooked for you & a local brewery serving cold beer from a art deco caravan. A great night for tourists and locals as like.

Matua Park is a waterfront community reserve on Hall Road in the Matua peninsula of Tauranga, with views across the inner harbour to Mauao / Mount Maunganui. The recently upgraded children's playground (designed with input from the local Scout Group) sits alongside a tennis court, picnic seating, shady trees, bench seats and public toilets, with new pathways linking the park to surrounding streets and a Sunday street-food market.
