Lyall Bay Play Area sits on Lyall Parade overlooking the south-coast surf beach in Wellington's eastern suburbs. The fenced, nautical-themed playground caters mainly to ages 3-8 with swings, slides, climbing frames and a sandpit, plus intergenerational features including a pump track, a small skate half-pipe and inclusive equipment, alongside picnic tables, shade and toilets close by.

Pretty views! Right next to the beach, toilets and a couple of yummy restaurants, but it’s windy! (Not so surprising 😆, also very small, great for younger kids) …
