Broken glass everywhere in and around the skatebowl, unkempt, unsafe for children to play in, very disappointed that this park is not looked after...who's responsibility is this?

Kaiti Memorial Park is a Gisborne District Council reserve in Kaiti, anchored by a community-revitalised skate bowl with ramps, rails, and ledges that was rebuilt from a death trap into a thriving skater hub thanks to Currie Construction, Gisborne Boys High art teacher Brett Summerlees mural, and Resene-donated paint. A small playground and open lawn round out the war-memorial setting. A community-led skate destination and memorial reserve rather than a destination playground.
