Marina Park is a Gisborne District Council waterfront reserve at 1 Vogel Street in Whataupoko, on the harbour edge next to the marina and a short walk from the i-SITE Visitor Centre. The park has expansive lawns and manicured gardens, walking paths with marina views, picnic seating, parking and a children's playground. The site also functions as a designated freedom camping area for self-contained vehicles, so expect a relaxed mix of families and visiting campers in summer rather than a destination-style playground.

There was a maori art light exhibition at the park. Got to see it twice was awesome. Lovely place to go sit next to the water.
