Anzac Park is a riverside Gisborne District Council reserve on Heta Road in Inner Kaiti, named in 1916 to commemorate ANZAC forces and still used for Anzac Day services. The park has a small fenced-feel playground with picnic tables and BBQs on grassed riverbank, alongside a football field, a boat ramp and clubrooms for rowing, kayaking and waka ama on the Waimata River. It is a relaxed family park and waka-ama-watching spot a short distance east of central Gisborne, well-regarded by visitors as a quiet family pick.
