Jim Cooke Memorial Park is the home sports park of Waikanae Football Club, an 8 acre Kapiti Coast District Council reserve in Waikanae with football pitches, walking paths, and a neighbourhood playground beside the fields. The play area suits a quick run-around alongside training and weekend matches, with the wider park giving room for ball games and dog walks. A useful local stop for football families rather than a destination playground. The separate Waikanae Park nearby is getting a new skate park and replacement play space across 2026.
