Waikanae Park is a destination community reserve on Park Avenue in Waikanae, run by Kapiti Coast District Council. The park has expansive sports fields and exercise areas alongside a family zone with picnic seating and parking, and a new skatepark, accessible play space and toilet block are being rebuilt in 2026 after the previous skatepark was removed for safety reasons in mid-2025.

Cute park with free off street parking, plenty of different activities for all ages and abilities, plus a new little pump track. Nearby, there is an adult obstacle course and public facilities. There is also free water at the playground, two picnic tables and a park bench. Some mature trees offer shady spots to sit too.
Loved going here when I was a baby to little kid, always loved the swings the most, I revisited this place in 2025 and it brought back happy memories! I would love to come back here even as a young adult and have fun, highly recommend!
