Waikanae Park is the Kāpiti Coast’s main sports hub at the corner of Park Avenue and Ngarara Road, packing senior and junior rugby fields, soccer and cricket use, a wrestling club, croquet, a pump track and a BMX track into one site. The children’s playground sits alongside with slides, swings, seating and shade. Toilets, a water fountain, walking tracks, an adult fitness station and off-road parking round it out, and a major refresh during 2026 is replacing the ageing skatepark, toilets and play equipment.
