Cox's Bay Reserve is a 14-hectare Auckland Council waterfront park in Westmere, with rugby and cricket sports fields, walking trails along a creek with native mangroves, and the fenced playground sitting within it. The colourful play space features a large tower with tubular slides, an overhead climbing bar and dedicated equipment for younger children. Adjacent are basketball, volleyball and tennis courts, fitness equipment, BBQs, picnic tables, accessible toilets and changing rooms, parking and drinking fountains.

They have a volley ball court, netball and basketball court, gym equipments along the walkways which is great for extra training. Playground is also fenced which is great for little ones to keep them safe inside. A great place to take families to hang out and play.

Fairly a big park with a large playground in and around Ponsonby, Grey Lynn area. Long walks to Cox's bay, dogs on and off leash areas, board walks, green fields and picnic tables are plus points. However, the strong stench coming out from the nearby mangrove at some places of this park is not so pleasant, particularly in the summer :(
