Wahine Memorial Park sits on the south-eastern tip of Moa Point at Breaker Bay in Wellington, marking where the TEV Wahine ferry first ran into trouble before being wrecked off Barrett Reef on 10 April 1968 during the so-called Wahine Storm. The park has one of the ferry's propellers as a memorial, picnic lawns, swimming and diving access at the adjoining beach, and a short gravel walk to the Atatürk Memorial with views over the harbour entrance and the Remutaka Range; a small neighbourhood playground sits near the car park.

This is a memorial park for the Wahine which sank in 1968 with the loss of 51 lives as it was returning from Lyttelton. There is another memorial in the centre of Wellington in Frank Kitts Park on the waterfront consisting of the Wahine's main mast. The park was created on the site where the Wahine actually went down and there is a memorial plaque and the directional propeller of the ship.
