Thompson Street Playground is a long-established neighbourhood playground in Leamington, Cambridge, completely refurbished by Waipa District Council in 2021. The redesign kept the original flying fox and seesaw and added a nature-led forest of stepping logs, stilt logs and recycled balance logs weaving between play stations, a slide, a small bike track and fenced picnic seating.

The "Kids" loved it, especially the flying fox!!! Nice clean water fountain set up is great also.

We love this playground. My son loves little path to ride bike on. Finally good slide for wee toddlers. Would love see a fence to go around the whole corner as my kids are very young, more than two go in different directions lol
