The council has thoughtfully kept houses back on the other side of the road, allowing for this riverside space. I visited soon after Cyclone Gabrielle hit, so there were various broken trees. They'll be cleared away soon. This is a lovely little oasis - not that the beautiful town of Cambridge needs one! It could do with a good walking path along its length. This park is a Rotary Project.

Beautiful place for a quick lunch stop away from the hustle of town. Great for a picnic and relax under the trees with nature and the river
