Leamington Domain in Cambridge reopened in July 2025 after a major Waipā District Council rebuild, themed on the area’s horticultural and river heritage with mana whenua input. The destination playground packs in embankment and stainless-steel slides, double-bay swings, a sand digger, water weirs, a rope obstacle, trampolines, percussion instruments, a toddler mound, timber hut and spinning equipment. Picnic and shade areas, toilets and a bike track sit alongside in the wider domain.
