Victoria Square is the heritage civic green at the heart of Cambridge in Waipā, renamed in 1897 to mark Queen Victoria’s Jubilee. The square hosts summer cricket on a historic ground, weekend markets, picnics under the 1930s-planted tall trees and community events, with a heritage 1920-era cook-shed and a small play space within the grounds. Dogs are not allowed in summer or during winter markets.
