The Dales Reserve is a Porirua City Council neighbourhood reserve at Fiordland Place in Aotea, accessed through an alleyway opposite Abel Glenn. The playground sits in a bush-fringed pocket of the reserve and connects out to the Dales Pathway, a fairy-garden style walk through the trees, which links on to the Conclusion Walkway and Bothamley Park for longer family adventures. Well-regarded as a quiet hidden Aotea stop, especially nice in spring. A relaxed nature-edged local play stop rather than a destination playground.
