Taupo Domain Playground

Taupō Domain Playground is a wonderful spot for families, perfectly located along the beautiful Tapuaeharuru Bay on Lake Taupō. The park is spacious, clean, and very well-maintained, making it a relaxing place to spend time outdoors. Surrounded by tall native trees and interesting stone sculptures, the setting feels peaceful and scenic while still being right in the heart of town. The playground offers a good range of equipment, including climbing frames, swings, and other play structures that keep children happily occupied. There is plenty of open grass nearby for running around, picnics, or simply relaxing by the lake. The lakefront views are stunning, and it’s a great place to watch the water or enjoy a gentle walk along the shore. Parking is available nearby, and there are public toilets within walking distance. Next to the big park! Great bike tracks with a few picnic tables. Lots of fun activities for both little and older kids. There’s also a public toilet nearby, right next to the water and some restaurants.
