Mere Road Reserve Playground is a Taupo District Council neighbourhood reserve between Mere Road and Rokino Road in central Taupo, with a play space renewed in February 2024 after a community vote on the final design (90 percent picked the winning option). The upgrade added new equipment including slides and swings, rubber matting for accessibility, comfortable parent seating, shade improvements, and wide paths for prams and mobility devices. A relaxed local stop well-regarded by Taupo families rather than a destination playground.
