Mere Road Reserve is a Taupō District Council neighbourhood park between Rokino Road and Mere Road in central Taupō. The playground was refreshed in February 2024 after a two-round community consultation, with new swings, slides, a climbing tower, a half basketball court, improved shade and rubber-mat safety surfacing. Best treated as a comfortable local stop combining play with a quick game of basketball.
