Queens Square is a Hastings District Council central Parkvale heritage reserve with mature shade trees, grassy lawns and picnic tables. The playground includes swings, seesaws, a climbing frame, slide and a merry-go-round, with adult fitness equipment alongside. Entrances are from Willowpark Road, Avenue Road, Queen Street and Princess Street; seating is provided but there are no public toilets.

A nice shady park for our dog ,lots of trees ,a wee park ,benches all around the park ,I love the free workout machines is a bonus

A quiet little park with playground: Baby swings,slide, battleship. Picnic table, Exercise equipment and plenty of park benches. Lovely big trees. Good for Autumn leaf jumping.
