Bill Mathewson Park (often called Mayfair Park) is a Hastings District Council reserve in the Mayfair suburb, accessed off Willowpark Road, Cunningham Crescent and Collinge Place. The site is the home ground of Tamatea Rugby and Sports Club with two senior and one junior rugby fields in winter and four touch-rugby pitches in summer, plus changing rooms, public toilets and shade trees. A small neighbourhood playground sits beside the sports area; the park has been central to the Mayfair Community Plan since 2014 and is open 6am-11pm.
