Queens Park Playground sits inside the 80-hectare Queens Park in central Invercargill, accessed through the heritage Feldwick Gates on Gala Street or off Herbert Street. The playground is consistently rated as Invercargill's premier family play area, with separate younger- and older-kids zones, a hydraulic swing, water-play splash pad, slides, climbing structures and inclusive equipment for varied abilities. The surrounding park also offers a free animal reserve, 18-hole golf course, 4km fitness trail with 20 exercise stations, botanic gardens and the Southland Museum and Art Gallery - a full day-out destination across all ages.

Beautiful day to explore the park. The water section is open in the kid's zone, and all the Tuatara are enjoying the sun!

Beautiful park, I'd have to say one of of if not the best in the country. Great asset to the City of Invercargill and to all who visit it.
