Turnbull Thomson Park is one of Invercargill’s busiest sports parks on Islington Street, used by Southland Spirit FC and Queens Park AFC for football and by the Southland Stags rugby team for training. Multiple rugby, soccer and hockey pitches dominate the grounds, alongside a skate area, dog exercise zone, walking and running lanes and a playground featuring a fitness cube, monorail and inclusive swings inspected to NZ safety standards. Toilets and parking sit alongside.

Amazing place. True NZ native Bush. Easy to walk. Bird life everywhere. A must do experience when in the area.. Take you camera/cell phone.

Grandchild's hockey match. Safe secure spot for kids hockey. Good viewing boxes and open rooms for changing g and toilet. Even cube can for coffee and also a sausage sizzle going. A fun experience I recommend.
