Nice location, good playground, adjustable height basketball hoop and half court. A big field for free play, but is very wet during the winter.

Peren Park is a Palmerston North City Council neighbourhood park on Ruapehu Drive in Fitzherbert/Vaucluse Heights, with an adventure-style playground that mixes an obstacle course, climbing dome, play house, swings, slides, and a separate toddler zone alongside a basketball court with an adjustable hoop. The park backs onto bush walks giving it a quieter, leafy feel away from the main suburban streets. Dogs are kept out of the playground but allowed on lead on the grassed southern end. Well-regarded by Fitzherbert families as a richer local stop rather than a destination playground.

Love the park. Small play house gives more variety for kids. Awesome little Bush walk to introduce the kids to nature walks.
