Neale Park is a 31.4-acre Nelson City Council park in The Wood, threaded by walking paths and home to Nelson’s parkrun. The play area near North Road has slides, swings and climbing structures with accessible paths, restrooms, drinking water and parking, plus a well-used skatepark on site. A 2025 playground upgrade is underway to meet new NZ safety standards.
