Lots of space to play sports, especially rugby or cricket. There's slides and a couple sets of swings, countless seats, male and female toilets as well as off street parking. It's a good place to stop.

Mitchell Park is a Tauranga City Council sports park at 50 Seymour Place in Bellevue, home of the Otumoetai Eels rugby league club and used year-round for rugby and cricket with training floodlights. A small playground sits at the south Seymour Place frontage with slides, swings, seats and off-street parking. BBQs, public toilets and a boat ramp serve the wider park.
