Gordon Carmichael Reserve is a 60-hectare Tauranga City Council stormwater and wetland reserve nestled between the Mayfield subdivision in Bethlehem and Brookfield. The reserve combines ornamental and stormwater ponds, extensive native planting, 200m+ of boardwalk through wetlands and several kilometres of walking and cycling tracks with multiple children's playgrounds, an outdoor classroom and a swan-feeding viewing platform. A small carpark sits on Carmichael Road next to the toilets, playground and outdoor classroom. Open 24/7 (carpark closes at night) and home to a regular Saturday parkrun.

Nice area for a walk. Nothing spectacular but plenty of bird life. Seems to be popular with dog walkers. Toilets at the main (small) carpark.
