Marchwiel Park is a 2.6-hectare suburban park on Selwyn Street in Timaru, with the playground and toilets on the left as you face the reserve. The play space pairs a slide and four-person tyre swing with an extensive jungle gym featuring a zipline, climbing wall, ladders, wobbly bridges and climbing ropes, so it spans toddlers through to older primary kids. A large open sports field and a picnic table sit next to the playground, making it an easy spot for a longer family visit. The park is dog friendly and part of the Timaru District Play43 trail.
