Keirunga Gardens is a 7.9-hectare Hastings District Council heritage park in Havelock North, home to the Keirunga Homestead, the Keirunga Gardens Arts and Crafts Society and the Keirunga Park Railway (an 846-metre mini-train track that winds through tunnels and across bridges, run by volunteers on selected weekends). A children's playground with swings, climbing frames and a confidence course sits among the gardens, with picnic areas, walking paths, dog-friendly zones, public toilets and parking.

A wonderful place to take a little adventure. Great for little ones. Nice easy walk around Kerunga. Different paths to take throughout. Kids playground is great at the top. Catch the right day and go for a train ride. Amazing colours at this time of year
Keirunga gardens is a wonderful place to have a picnic, go for a walk or head out on the trains.awesome place for the whole family to enjoy. Staff at the trains are very friendly and helpful, toilets are available and the trains are CASH only. No eftpos available
