Johnsonville Park is a Wellington City Council reserve on Truscott Avenue at the edge of Johnsonville/Khandallah, part of the Outer Green Belt. The 35-minute easy walk is the end section of the Northern Walkway, threading through native bush and past a tunnel hewn into solid rock and a disused concrete water reservoir. Walkers, families and dog walkers use the loop; Table Mountain reserve and Onslow College sit alongside.
