Cummings Park is a grassed Ngaio community reserve off Ottawa Road, with the Korimako Stream and the national Te Araroa walkway running through it. The playground sits among native bush regeneration, a picnic lawn and a dog exercise area, with swings and climbing structures aimed at primary-school-aged play. A branch of Wellington City Library sits adjacent, making it an easy combined-stop with story time or a bushwalk along the stream. It works well as a relaxed neighbourhood visit rather than a destination playground.

Great playground - especially for toddlers. So pleased to find somewhere that can accommodate both a 1yo and 3yo in active play. Both loved it. Very well designed and thought out
