Alex Moore Park is one of Johnsonville’s main sports parks at 74 Moorefield Road in Wellington, home to Olympic Harriers, Johnsonville Cricket, Johnsonville Rugby Football Club, North Wellington Junior and Senior Football and the Wellington Deaf Society. The 2021-opened Waiora Hub provides a modern sports and community centre with changing rooms and meeting rooms alongside the fields. A small playground sits within the grounds; the Kipling Street Play Area is a short walk away, with parking and toilets on site.

Great park for a run or walk, improved facilities here now, new changing rooms toilet and lounge. Cricket ground has new improved drainage. new fencing being put up.
