Holloway Road Playground is a small Wellington City Council neighbourhood reserve on the atmospheric Holloway Road in Aro Valley, an old working-class Wellington valley below Polhill Reserve. The playground was recently refreshed with a community-led design and Matta safety surfacing in light green and grey to blend with the bush surroundings. Parking is very limited and pedestrian access is constrained, so it works best as a walk-in stop for local families. Best treated as a quiet neighbourhood stop combined with a Polhill Reserve bush walk.
